Alexandra Raileanu is a PhD student in Medical Nanotechnology at the University of Milan and holds a position as Early Stage Researcher in the European FP7 programme CATSENSE.
She holds a M.Sc. degree in Prosthetics Bioengineering at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering within the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iasi, Romania.
Currently, her research focuses on developing a biofunctionalized transducer based on Zirconium oxide and Acetylcholinesterase that will be implemented in a portable device for pesticide detection.
