Center for Individual Nanoparticle Functionality (CINF)
The Center for Individual Nanoparticle Functionality (CINF) located at the Physics Department of the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is dedicated to understanding the fundamental behavior of nanoparticles, on the atomic level and to capitalize on this insight for designing new efficient systems used in:
- Heterogeneous catalysis,
- Electro-catalysis,
- Photo-electro-catalysis.
The goal is to design new efficient materials & processes for environmental protection, energy harvesting and conversion making a significant contribution towards a sustainable energy solution for mankind.
CINF consists of 7 faculty staff, 12 postdoc and 23 PhDs. It a close connection to Industry i.e. Haldor Topsøe A/S & IRD Fuel Cell A/S.
